So I’m posting this a little bit late, but can we take a minute to appreciate the best graduation present ever? It’s an altered book that my mom made out of the Fault in Our Stars. (Since she knew it was one of my favorite books) It’s kind of like a scrapbook, only it’s made out of the pages of a book instead (John, I hope that you don’t mind that my mom altered it). She  used pictures, clippings, material, and other things I’ve gotten way back from when I was little to Senior Year. She even made tabs in some places, so you can lift it up and see the quotes. Thank you so much mom. This truly is the best graduation present ever.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to say, i never expected this to happen to someone i know… This lovely smiling girl is Gailon. She was my first second leader in the flute section (of my high school band) and shes now a junior in college. This week, she learned not only that she had a tumor in her hip, but that it was malignant…. Shes going to have to go through hell and back but god knows she deserves to live; she is lovely and funny and wonderful and such a caring loving pure person…. I want this message to reach john green, author of the now famous Novel The Fault In Our Stars. John: your book, and the performances of it given by the actors in the movie adaptation, have moved me to care more about people affected by cancer and i want to thank you for that! It really has hit me now that someone i know has cancer… Its scary but i know the messages from TFIOS will be with my thoughts and prayers for my friend and mentor Gailon… Just i guess i’m asking if Nerdfighteria might pray for her? Thank you all :) edwardspoonhands fishingboatproceeds

5/23/14 I met some amazing authors at StoryCrush in Seattle! I can’t believe I got my books signed as well! All of the authors gave some good personal writing advice to me that was really helpful and considerate.
